Welcome to Saint-Jean
Place of discovery and laissez-aller in a warm family setting.

Welcome to Saint-Jean, a farmhouse-manor founded in 1200 by the Templars. This fortress is a constant reminder of the importance of slowing down from time to time, letting the present moment sink in. It is a place of new discoveries, curiosity and proximity to nature. A place of bon vivant too, where you can enjoy a chat by the fire place with a glass of wine and an organic or medieval meal on your knees.
Saint-Jean is located in Saint-Malon-sur-Mel on the edge of the Broceliande forest, 50 kms from Rennes, in Brittany. Precious family home for over twenty-five years, it is slowly transitioning into a place of sustainability and community right, left, and centre. Amongst other, we are exploring possibilities to host workshops, retreats, artist residencies, concerts, all coming together around the themes of local culture and global challenges.
